Fetal Testing...

As of Thursday 2/28/08 no baby yet.....We have an appointmnet tomorrow (Friday) and we can possibly make an inducing appointment then.

As a routine for overdue babies, Mommy went in on Monday to the hospital to get her contractions and the baby's heart beats tested. The placenta is only meant to last 9 mos so they had to make sure that it was still working properly.

The test found that Mommy had two small contractions half an hour apart from each other. Nothing she could really feel and no indication that the baby will be coming anytime soon. The baby's heartbeat sped up when she moved so that was the good sign the nurses were looking for. There was also a good amount of amniotic fluid around the baby so everything looked fine.

Next test and appointment is Friday the 29th unless the baby arrives earlier.....
